Assessment for ADHD

Many children present with ADHD traits. This can be a sign of other co-morbidities such as sensory integration difficulties, anxiety or neurodiversity.

I offer an initial consultation and I can carry out an assessment for ADHD simultaneously, if required. I will issue Connors Questionnaires for both parents and school to complete and discuss the results at the initial advice consultation.

Alternatively following the initial consultation / assessment, if I feel that further assessment for ADHD is required I can issue Connors Questionnaires for both parents and school to complete and arrange a feedback consultation.*

*Please note that I do not prescribe medication for ADHD. I do prescribe melatonin to support sleep difficulties and I can set up shared care agreements with GPs. I do not see children who have acute health needs.
